Penistone St John the Baptist KS2
Choir are performing once again! The
choir were thrilled to be one of only 4 school choirs selected to participate
in the Primary Vocal Festival at Elsecar Heritage Centre on Wednesday 21st
June. 15 members of the choir
participated in what was a fantastic event, singing three individual pieces as
well as three massed pieces with the other participating school choirs. The children of St John’s choir even sang one of their songs in four parts
– an impressive achievement! As well as
this they covered the classic songs Ain’t No Mountain High enough and Somewhere
Over the Rainbow. Everyone in the choir really enjoyed the
performance. Miss Masters, Mrs Anger and
all of the staff at St John’s are very proud of our school choir, and can’t
wait for our next performance. Well done
to all of the children!
